Background

Well I have been looking for another car project for the last couple of years, my 928 now needs less attention except to drive so I have some wrenching time to put to good use. While I have been looking I helped out a couple of local 928 owners with their cars which was a good distraction.

One day I was browsing excellence and their was an article on a Subaru WRX conversion and after reading I thought now that would be cool. Modern power plant but still boxer 4 cylinder in a lightweight mid engine chassis which has abundant after market parts at reasonable prices.

I scanned the first page of the article just for reference.

I also thought this would make a great companion to the 928, completely different machines.
